The company confirmed that Android OEMs are working on adding satellite communications as Apple did with the iPhone 14 series, but it’s still unclear when brands will roll out the feature. Previously, Qualcomm announced the new “Snapdragon Satellite” technology that it is partnering with satellite service provider – Iridium during CES 2023. So obviously Xiaomi, Motorola and other brands too. This service will be available soon.
